Health Resources For Clients
Welcome to health resources for clients. This page is a compilation of resources we may talk about in your mentoring sessions.
Emotional health may be driven by many different factors, not the least of which is physical well-being. And how we feel in our bodies is dependent on how we care for them.
I believe that what we eat has a significant affect on how we feel emotionally. As an herbalist and former functional medicine researcher, I also believe there are answers that go beyond the traditional allopathic approach to depression, anxiety, etc. from a physical stand-point.
The following links will take you to additional information, books, and products that may be supportive of your emotional health.

Functional Medicine:
Functional medicine is a systems based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. The goal of functional medicine is to find the real reason the body may be experiencing a disease response and then treat it with dietary changes, pharmaceutical grade supplements, and lifestyle interventions. These diagnostic interventions may include searching for causation in the form of bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infections, food allergies, toxins, hormone imbalance, inadequate nutrition, faulty detox systems, and lifestyle factors.
