How does trauma affect the body?

  • Chronic muscle spasm
  • Uncertainty
  • Fear that comes and goes
  • Panic attacks
  • Sleep problems
  • Chronic digestive upset
  • Constant body aches and pains
  • Stiff neck and/or limited range of motion
  • Muscle jerks
  • Churning stomach
  • Eye strain
  • Loss of interest (in everything)
  • No sex drive
  • Pounding heart, skipped beats
